About the job
You think in structures, not in individual cases – and want to not only uncover criminal networks but also dismantle them sustainably? Then bring your investigative skills to the newly established interdisciplinary group and work together with investigative teams on particularly complex criminal police investigations in the field of organised and structured crime.
Your tasks
- Recognise and identify criminal activities through criminal analytical, operational and strategic investigative work, in close cooperation with internal and external partners (police officers, public prosecutors, fedpol, etc.)
- Independently handle cases in the field of structured crime including conducting interviews, house searches and coercive measures
- Support operational units with case files on personal networks and pattern recognition, depending on the situation participate in investigative groups
- Use digital research possibilities, OSINT tools and information systems
- Further develop methods, processes and standards
Your profile
- Federal specialist certificate as a police officer or an equivalent police or criminal police qualification
- Several years of investigative or search experience
- Willingness and suitability to participate and situationally lead investigative groups as well as take on demanding, complex and time-critical investigative assignments
- Proven independent, structured working method, analytical thinking, innovation and persistence
- Editorial skills, ability to work in a team, willingness to continue training, as well as confident and convincing appearance
- Resilience, flexibility, personal responsibility, appropriate decision-making, integrity and discretion as well as willingness to work irregular hours and operational deployments complete your profile
