Role:
In this role, you care for and treat patients with musculoskeletal complaints in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or Orthopaedics. You are responsible for specialist medical assessment, making well-founded diagnoses, and initiating evidence-based conservative or operative therapy options. You specifically incorporate interdisciplinary aspects such as pain medicine, rehabilitation, prevention, and functional restoration into your treatment concepts. You contribute your experience to develop indication-appropriate treatment plans, communicate them clearly, and monitor the course in a structured manner. Through your expertise, you significantly contribute to the sustainable improvement of patients’ quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- You independently take care of and provide primary care for general practitioner patients.
- In this role, you ensure the best possible medical care.
- You work closely in a team and ensure collegial representation.
- As a specialist in Physical Medicine and Orthopaedics, you actively support the further development of practice offerings.
- You participate in internal and external training to continuously improve treatment quality.
Qualifications:
- You have completed medical studies and specialist training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Orthopaedic Surgery, or Rheumatology.
- Ideally, you have completed or are close to completing the SEMS Sports Medicine training (expected January 2027).
- Holistic and patient-centred care is a matter of course for you.
- You work solution-oriented, cooperatively, and appreciate interdisciplinary teamwork.
- You are familiar with electronic medical records and use them routinely in daily practice.
- You communicate empathetically, are strong in contact, and have at least B2 level proficiency in German.
