What you can achieve.

• You are responsible for developing category, sourcing and supplier strategies and their implementation with a focus on end-to-end consideration.
• In your area, you ensure timely, economically sustainable supply to the division(s) / corporate areas and are responsible for the complete execution of procurements in compliance with legal requirements (BöB/VöB) and the Code of Conduct.
• You create access to market innovations and continuously generate savings through cost reductions, process optimisations and quality improvements.
• Furthermore, you support demand carriers throughout Switzerland, manage contract administration for assigned categories and continuously develop supplier management.
• With high personal responsibility and plenty of scope for design "from today into the future", we entrust you with the entire procurement process in the assigned area.

What you bring with you.

• You take on a hub function and act as a link between demand carriers and other internal stakeholders. You consolidate requirements, coordinate information and ensure efficient decision-making.
• Good analytical skills and the willingness to actively contribute in a dynamic environment motivate you to perform at your best.
• In your career, you can look back on several years of professional experience in procurement as a strategic buyer in demanding procurement transactions. Experience in the procurement of consumables (e.g. tools, fastening technology, electrical consumables) is an advantage, as is knowledge of public procurement law (BöB/VöB).
• You have a technical or commercial basic education and have advanced training as a federally certified buyer/purchasing manager, or a university degree (FH/Uni) in business administration, supply chain management or similar.
• For this position, you need flawless German and good French skills. Additional languages are a plus.
