Job Description

• You are responsible for quality assurance and promotion of infection prevention and hospital hygiene in all areas of the clinic
• You create, implement and monitor the clinic's hygiene guidelines
• You are responsible for the development, support and instruction of the Link Nurses
• You are responsible for the implementation and execution of the minimum requirements of the Noso strategy in the clinic
• You advise and train employees and attending physicians and promote awareness of hygiene-related issues
• You plan hygiene audits and/or inspections, conduct them and define measures for optimisation
• You conduct hygiene commission meetings together with the specialist from the partner clinic
• You bear responsibility in the prevention and monitoring of nosocomial infections and hospital-relevant pathogens
• You are the clinic's contact person for all hygiene-related concerns, triage and handle issues according to expertise involving supervisors, the infectiologist or the infection prevention specialist from the partner clinic

Qualifications

• You have completed training as a qualified nurse HF or FH
• You bring several years of professional experience
• Qualification as a specialist in infection prevention and hospital hygiene (or in training)
• Good knowledge of common Office applications
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, additional languages are an advantage
• High social competence and communication skills
• Good organisational skills, high flexibility and ability to work independently
