Job Description
- You are responsible for quality assurance and promotion of infection prevention and hospital hygiene in all areas of the clinic
- You create, implement and monitor the clinic's hygiene guidelines
- You are responsible for the development, support and instruction of the Link Nurses
- You are responsible for the implementation and execution of the minimum requirements of the Noso strategy in the clinic
- You advise and train employees and attending physicians and promote awareness of hygiene-related issues
- You plan hygiene audits and/or inspections, conduct them and define measures for optimisation
- You conduct hygiene commission meetings together with the specialist from the partner clinic
- You bear responsibility in the prevention and monitoring of nosocomial infections and hospital-relevant pathogens
- You are the clinic's contact person for all hygiene-related concerns, triage and handle issues according to expertise involving supervisors, the infectiologist or the infection prevention specialist from the partner clinic
Qualifications
- You have completed training as a qualified nurse HF or FH
- You bring several years of professional experience
- Qualification as a specialist in infection prevention and hospital hygiene (or in training)
- Good knowledge of common Office applications
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, additional languages are an advantage
- High social competence and communication skills
- Good organisational skills, high flexibility and ability to work independently
