Service Technician – Zurich Oberland Region

You will work full-time from your home base in Fehraltorf – with a dedicated service vehicle and an operational area in the Zurich Oberland as well as neighbouring regions

• You operate independently in your local service area and get high-quality kitchen appliances running again. From diagnosis and repair to overhaul and maintenance, you encounter new situations and a wide variety of devices every day. Whether oven, steamer, dishwasher, fridge or extractor hood, variety is guaranteed
• Your professional assessment counts during your assignments. You decide when a repair is worthwhile and when a replacement is the better solution, prepare suitable quotes and support customers with honest and transparent recommendations
• Your expertise goes beyond technology. In direct contact with customers, you provide practical tips on operation, care and maintenance, answer questions about connection and installation, and ensure that our appliances bring long-term satisfaction
• With your tablet, you have everything important at your fingertips and document your assignments, service reports and quotes easily and digitally. This way, you keep an overview of your workday and your orders
• Even though you spend a lot of time working independently, you are part of a team. In daily exchange with the service centre, you share experiences and solutions, while service bulletins and technical updates keep you professionally up to date. This way, your know-how grows with every assignment

• You have completed a basic craft or electrical training (EFZ or EBA) – ideally as an electrician, electronics technician or in a comparable profession
• You bring solid electrical knowledge and know how to systematically, safely and solution-oriented approach an unfamiliar device. Ideally, you already have the NIV-15 permit or are willing to complete the required training with us
• You enjoy direct customer contact and can explain technical contexts so that they are understandable even without technical knowledge – friendly, clear and on equal terms
• You work independently and reliably. Even if the schedule is tight, you find a way to combine quality, care and punctuality
• You are physically fit and pitch in during demanding assignments – whether in tight installation situations, with heavy devices or complex connections in an existing kitchen
• You communicate confidently in German; additional languages are a real plus
• You hold a category B driving licence

If a V-ZUG appliance does not work as it should for our customers, our Field Service comes into play. Our service technicians are on the road daily – competent, solution-oriented and with the aim of turning a service call into a good customer experience.

With 16 service locations throughout Switzerland, we are close to our customers. Whether diagnosis, repair, maintenance or personal advice: we combine technical know-how with genuine service understanding. We work independently in our regions but remain closely connected as a team – digitally, in daily exchange and with the shared goal that V-ZUG continues to delight even after purchase.
