Job description:
The Training and Succession Programme in Family and Childhood Medicine Practice (FoRCab MFE) supports the succession in family medicine, notably by subsidising and organising assistant physician posts in practices within the Canton of Vaud. The organisation is regional.
The Western region offers multi-year training courses reserved for future family doctors. In addition to a placement in a training practice (6 months full-time or 12 months half-time), rotations are possible in the following departments: internal medicine, surgery, emergency/outpatient clinic and paediatrics at Nyon Hospital, pneumology in Rolle, and psychiatry in Prangins.
Required profile:
- Qualified physician or in the process of obtaining a medical degree
- Aiming to obtain a specialist title in general internal medicine
- Objective to establish a practice as a family doctor in the Western part of the Canton of Vaud
- Must not have received a cantonal subsidy within the framework of assistantship in practice (all cantons)
Training:
- Swiss medical diploma or equivalent
