At PFIFFNER, you will become part of a family-run Swiss technology leader with a strong international presence in the energy transmission and distribution sector. This unique position offers you the opportunity to combine Swiss engineering expertise with close collaboration between the Pfiffner measuring transformer sites in Switzerland and Turkey.

As a member of our engineering team, you will take technical responsibility for our product portfolio in the field of medium voltage measuring transformers manufactured in Turkey and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for customers worldwide.

Your responsibility

As a product expert, you will accompany our current and voltage transformers in medium voltage throughout their entire lifecycle. The position combines product engineering and product development and offers you a high level of technical responsibility as well as great scope for design.

You will work closely with colleagues from development, production, test laboratories, sales and project management at the Hirschthal and Ankara sites. In doing so, you act as the central technical contact person and competence carrier across sites and departments.

Your contractual place of work is Hirschthal, Switzerland. Depending on project requirements, approximately 50% of your activity may take place in Ankara, Turkey and 50% in Hirschthal, Switzerland.

Your tasks

You ensure the technical quality, performance and further development of our medium voltage measuring transformers

You lead development projects from the concept phase to market launch, coordinating all relevant stakeholders

You develop and optimise measuring transformer designs as well as manufacturing, testing and industrialisation processes together with production and test laboratories

You make technical decisions on demanding customer requirements and develop innovative, customer-specific solutions

You act as the central technical interface between development, production, quality, purchasing, sales, customers and external partners

You analyse and resolve technical problems using data and root cause analyses, tests and simulations

You promote innovations, collaborate with universities and research partners and drive the further development of technologies, tools and the product portfolio

What you bring with you

Completed studies in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification

Several years of experience in the fields of medium voltage technology, cast resin technology, transformers, electrical switchgear or related disciplines

Proven assertiveness and experience in leading international teams

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Analytical thinking and structured working methods

Initiative, sense of responsibility and a proactive attitude

Very good English and German skills, both spoken and written

Knowledge of Turkish, familiarity with Swiss and Turkish business cultures and/or a personal connection to Turkey can be helpful in building strong cross-site relationships.
