We accompany banks in the further development of their control and management instruments and support them in managing profitability, risk and capital holistically and value-oriented, as well as making well-founded decisions based on transparent control information.
What to expect from us — experiences you will benefit from for a lifetime
As part of our "Financial Services Consulting" division, you will support banks with issues related to group-wide management, performance management, as well as the integration of finance and risk perspectives and regulation in corporate management.
As part of our team, you will:
- Support Swiss banks in strategic and operational projects in the area of group-wide management
- Develop and further refine concepts for profitability, liquidity, capital and risk management
- Build, analyse and review regulatory requirements for banks in the area of financial and treasury risk and ensure their integration into group-wide management
- Analyse and structure issues related to treasury, ALM, capital, controlling and risk management
- Develop target models for control models, governance structures as well as reporting and management processes
- Conduct analyses and prepare recommendations for executive boards, CFOs, CROs and treasurers
- Support clients in harmonising control logics, data and information bases
- Gradually take responsibility for work packages, client interactions and project management
What you bring — skills to shape the future
- Master’s degree in business administration, banking & finance, economics or a comparable course of study
- Practical experience (2-4 years) in a bank or consulting firm with a focus on financial group-wide management, treasury / ALM, capital management, controlling, risk management or performance management
- Interest in issues of financial group-wide management and its interlinking with risk, liquidity and capital management as well as interest rate risk management/ALM
- Understanding of key control concepts such as profitability management, capital management, risk-return management or funds transfer pricing
- Analytical and conceptual skills as well as enjoyment of complex issues
- High initiative, willingness to learn and ability to work in a team
- Fluent German and very good English skills
- Swiss work permit or the possibility to obtain a Swiss work permit (e.g. through EU citizenship)
Ideally, you also bring
- Experience in preparing management analyses and decision-making bases for executives
- Interest in the further development of control, reporting and data landscapes
- Knowledge of the Swiss banking market is an advantage
- Experience in the application of AI and innovative working methods
- You are working towards or have already completed a relevant professional qualification (e.g. FRM, CFA)
