Assembly Mechanic: Machinery & Plant Engineering

In this versatile role, you are significantly involved in the mechanical assembly of digital printing systems. You assemble assemblies, modules and complete machines based on technical drawings, parts lists and assembly documents, ensuring that individual components form a precisely functioning overall system.

In doing so, you undertake demanding mechanical assembly tasks, align components exactly and ensure that guides, drives, axes and other mechanical elements interact correctly.

An important part of your task begins where pure assembly ends: during commissioning, you check functions and movement sequences, identify mechanical deviations and systematically investigate faults. You recognise potential improvements, provide feedback to engineering and thus make an important contribution to the optimisation and industrialisation of our machines.

Depending on the project, you also support the installation and commissioning of systems at international customers as well as conversions, optimisations and service assignments.

Your Profile

You have completed a technical education, for example as a polymechanic EFZ, production mechanic EFZ, machine mechanic or a comparable mechanical basic training. Ideally, you already have several years of experience in mechanical, plant or special machine construction.

You are familiar with the assembly of complex mechanical assemblies. You have a good understanding of mechanical relationships and work precisely, carefully and with quality awareness. Experience with pneumatics, drive technology, linear guides, sensor technology is an advantage.

What matters most is your enjoyment in solving technical problems practically. You work independently and reliably, while appreciating direct exchange with other technical departments. Good German language skills and willingness to occasionally work at international customers complete your profile.
