About the job

As part of strengthening a team specialised in infrastructures and digital work environments, we are looking for a VDI Platform Administrator with solid Citrix expertise.

You will work on critical VDI environments and participate in the administration, operation, and evolution of desktop and application virtualisation platforms.

You will be specifically responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, and integrity of Citrix environments. You will handle incidents and requests in compliance with established service levels, while contributing to continuous improvement and optimisation of operational activities.

Your role will also involve close collaboration with various infrastructure and operations teams. Thanks to your technical expertise, you will become a true Citrix/VDI reference and provide support to internal teams on complex issues.

The mission also includes participation in the night on-call service, approximately one week per month.

You are an experienced professional in VDI and Citrix environments, with at least 5 years of experience in administering and operating similar platforms. Autonomous, rigorous, and methodical, you are capable of analysing complex technical issues, quickly identifying their causes, and proposing reliable and sustainable solutions.

You master Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7, Machine Creation Services (MCS), Citrix StoreFront and Director, as well as the administration of persistent and non-persistent VDI environments. You also have good knowledge of VMware ESX, Windows 11 and Windows Server 2025 environments, as well as Active Directory, GPO, DHCP, and DNS services. Good proficiency in PowerShell and scripting is expected. Experience with Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) is an additional advantage.

You are also comfortable with the processes of preparing and generalising system images from MECM and have a good understanding of the interactions between the different components of a VDI infrastructure.

With higher education in IT/ICT or equivalent, you ideally hold a Citrix certification. A Microsoft Server certification is also an asset.

Finally, you have perfect command of French and good knowledge of technical English. Your communication skills, analytical and synthesis abilities, as well as your capacity to document and share your knowledge will allow you to integrate quickly within the team.

Note: for regulatory reasons related to the mission, residence in Switzerland is mandatory.
