Deputy Head of Dementia Ward
Attractive – Personal – Warm
The St. Antonius Retirement and Nursing Home was opened in 1991 in Saas-Grund. It offers elderly people a home where they are accompanied, cared for, and looked after according to their abilities and needs. Our goal is to provide residents with security, integration, joy, and quality of life in old age. The residents are cared for and looked after according to the latest findings in palliative care and the newest insights in gerontology. Another focus is the care of people suffering from dementia.
We are looking for someone from December 2026 or by arrangement
Deputy Head of Dementia Ward
To strengthen our team, we are seeking a committed, warm personality with a passion for caring for elderly people.
Your profile:
- Completed training as a Health Specialist EFZ or Nursing Specialist HF
- Professional experience in long-term care and on a dementia ward is an advantage
- Leadership experience or interest in a leadership role
- Strong professional and social competence
- Empathetic, open-minded and reliable personality
- Resilience, flexibility and ability to work in a team
- Independent, structured and responsible way of working
Your tasks:
- Co-responsibility for the professional and organisational management of the ward
- Support and representation of the ward management
- Individual care and support of our residents
- Execution of medical-technical procedures according to competencies
- Participation in ensuring high care quality
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and co-design of daily care routines
- Support and accompaniment of the care team in daily work
