The Directorate for Security, Environment and Energy is committed to safety, protection and assistance, environmental protection, sustainable energy supply and is responsible for building permit procedures as well as for the Bern Zoo. Protection and Rescue Bern combines the professional and militia fire brigade of the city of Bern, the Bern rescue service and the civil protection organization Bern plus. It operates the emergency call centers 118 and 144. The prevention and intervention areas of Protection and Rescue Bern provide the best possible safety and protection around the clock – in the federal city, the Bern agglomeration and the canton.
Activities
- Technical and personnel management of the Quality Assurance team of the emergency call centers
- Preparation of reports and quality reports for the department management and the management team of the emergency call centers
- Development of the Quality Assurance team of the SRB emergency call centers according to the specifications of the department management and in line with the requirements of the corporate quality management
- Coordination and execution of audits in the emergency call centers
- Preparation of process documentation
- Ensuring process control such as financial processes and annual planning in the area of quality assurance
- Engagement in overarching, interdisciplinary projects and external committees
Profile
- Training as a certified quality manager NDS HF NDS or willingness to acquire this
- Certified paramedic HF / transport paramedic with federal diploma / professional firefighter with federal diploma or equivalent training
- Several years of experience in SNZ 144 or FNZ118 and in rescue service or fire brigade
- Several years of technical and personnel management experience at group or team leader level as well as leadership training or willingness to acquire it
- Cantonal leadership training at levels EfÜ 1 and 2
- High communication skills, social skills, teamwork, organizational talent
- Very good IT skills
