Employee Workshop/Material Manager/Fire Department

The Kemmental lies between the Ottenberg and the Seerücken. Kemmental, with an area of 25 km², is one of the largest municipalities in the canton of Thurgau and is located in the district of Kreuzlingen. The municipality of Kemmental, consisting of the former local municipalities Alterswilen, Altishausen, Dotnacht, Ellighausen, Hugelshofen, Lippoldswilen, Neuwilen, and Siegershausen, has around 2,800 inhabitants.

Due to a restructuring of the departments of the municipality of Kemmental, we are looking for immediately or by agreement.

• Maintenance work on public roads, paths, squares, rivers, etc.
• Maintenance work on municipal buildings including furniture and technical systems
• Participation in training and further education
• Support of water supply (hydrants)
• Winter service
• On-call service
• Maintenance, repairs, cleaning, care, functional checks, and documentation of all
• equipment, vehicles, and team equipment of the fire department
• Preparation and follow-up of materials during operations, exercises, and courses
• Cleaning of the premises belonging to the fire department

• Completed craft or technical apprenticeship
• Driver's license category B – BE / C or C1 (118) advantageous or willingness to obtain it
• Good expertise in material management
• Willingness to perform irregular services
• Resilient, loyal, and a team player
• Quick comprehension and good organizational skills
• Confident expression in German, both spoken and written
• Customer- and service-oriented actions, forward-thinking

• Independent, varied, and responsible tasks
• A well-equipped, modern workshop with a contemporary machine park
