Speculative Application:

On behalf of our client – a leading Swiss insurance company in the Zurich area – we are seeking a assertive, empathetic, and professionally skilled individual for the assessment and settlement of complex claims.

Your main tasks

• Independent, expert assessment and handling of complex claims in the areas of property and/or personal insurance

• Clarification of coverage and liability issues as well as determination of the claim amount on site or based on files

• Negotiations with injured parties, lawyers, brokers, authorities, and experts

• Management and monitoring of recourse possibilities as well as negotiations with recourse opponents

• Professional support of internal claims handlers and participation in process improvements

What you bring

• Commercial basic training in the insurance industry or legal/technical studies

• Advanced training in insurance (e.g. Federal Specialist Certificate Insurance Specialist, Certified Claims Expert or Certified Insurance Economist)

• Extensive experience in claims settlement and expert activities for complex property or personal injuries

• High negotiation skills, resilience, and pronounced negotiation tact

• Fluent German; additional language skills (FR/IT/EN) are a clear advantage
