About the job
Whether on the construction site or in completed buildings, in residential, work, and industrial facilities: As an electrical installer, you are responsible for the installation and maintenance of electrical systems. From lighting to building automation and communication systems to photovoltaic systems, you are the expert. You advise customers, configure software, and ensure fault-free operation.
What are my tasks during the apprenticeship?
- Maintenance and repairs of electrical installations
- Laying pipes for cable routing
- Wiring of distribution boards and switchgear
- Installing electrical systems
- Connecting devices and apparatus
Requirements for the apprenticeship are:
- Interest in the field of electrical and technology
- Good school performance, focus on mathematics
- Strong spatial imagination
- Precise and careful working method
- No colour vision deficiencies
- Ability to work in a team
- Enjoyment of customer contact
- Residence in the Biel / Lyss region
- Native or second language German
