What to expect

For assignments in exciting client mandates as well as to significantly support our own IT, we are looking for an experienced, passionate, and implementation-strong System Engineer and Security Specialist who wants to make an impact. Whether cloud (M365/Azure) or on-premise – you master the entire spectrum with pleasure: from conception and setup through configuration to highly professional and secure operation.

Your varied range of tasks includes the following:

• System optimization: You analyze and optimize existing systems in complex environments regarding security, functionality, and automation (e.g., Active Directory/EntraID, Microsoft Client/Server infrastructure, backup, storage, virtualization, PKI, monitoring/logging, M365, Azure, etc.)
• IT architecture development: You create and review concepts focusing on architecture, security, and modern technology. Significant involvement in the corresponding implementation of systems in several of the mentioned areas
• Secure operations: You take on operational tasks within security-sensitive IT infrastructures with a high demand for ongoing optimization
• High-level support & project work: You contribute to internal 2nd and 3rd level support as well as demanding IT projects

What you bring

You convince with your project management skills as well as your communication strength. The following qualifications also round off your technical profile:

• Successfully completed basic IT education
• Solid and verifiable experience in operating and further developing medium to large IT infrastructures
• Deep technical and security know-how in several, preferably all, of the mentioned specialist topics as well as the relevant other system components such as network, firewall, WAF, DNS, etc.
• Familiar with the relevant ITIL processes as well as agile working methods (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe, etc.)
• Fluent German skills (C1/C2) as well as technical English (B2/C1)
• Impeccable reputation
