Who are we?
The Social Action Service SASoc, the competent authority in the canton of Fribourg notably for the supervision, coordination and harmonisation of the social assistance system (LASoc), is looking for a scientific collaborator in this sector at 60-70% for a start on 1 January 2027 or to be agreed. The role concerns the implementation and supervision of the Social Assistance Act (LASoc). Only online applications via the State of Fribourg website jobs.fr.ch will be considered.

Your missions
- Establish and support the supervision tasks of the organisation and functioning of regional social services and social commissions responsible for the application of the Social Assistance Act (LASoc)
- Define the monitoring of the social assistance system, statistical indicators, control dashboards, report results and analyse them
- Develop quality criteria for services and verify their application
- Support regional social services and social commissions in adapting processes, implementing general measures related to information and training of professionals, and organising procedures
- Participate in the development of the social assistance system
Desired profile
- Master’s degree in social work or equivalent training followed by several years of professional experience
- In-depth knowledge of organisation
- Excellent knowledge of social security and the organisation of the cantonal social system
- Enjoys contact with administrations, good communication skills and interest in social issues
- Dynamic and versatile personality, works precisely and comfortably with numbers, organisational and coordination skills, good team integration ability
- Good command of common IT tools
- Fluency in French or German with very good knowledge of the other language
