Apprenticeship for Health Specialist (FaGe)

You are about to finish school and know that you want to work with people? As a FaGe apprentice with us, you will learn the nursing profession not only in the classroom but every day directly at our clients’ homes – with a team that takes you seriously from the start.

• 🩹 You support basic care services such as personal hygiene, mobilisation, and nutrition
• 💉 During the apprenticeship, you will increasingly take on treatment care tasks, e.g. wound care, medication administration, or vital signs monitoring – always under supervision
• 🏠 You accompany experienced nursing professionals on visits to our clients’ homes and thus get to know the Spitex daily routine from the ground up
• 📋 You learn to plan, document, and discuss care processes within the team
• 🧑 🎓 Besides the practical part in the company, you attend vocational school and inter-company courses (ÜK), where you practise skills and theory in a protected environment before applying them with clients
• 📈 With each year of apprenticeship, your independence grows – from observing and helping in the first year to independently managed visits towards the end of the training
• 🧑 🏫 You will be accompanied throughout the apprenticeship by a dedicated trainer who regularly discusses your learning progress with you

• 📚 Completed compulsory schooling (Sec A or B)
• 📖 Average grade of 4.5 or better in core subjects German, General Studies / Science, People & Society, and Mathematics
• ❤️ Enjoyment in working with people and genuine interest in the nursing profession
• 🗣️ Good German language skills, both spoken and written
• 🤝 Reliability and eagerness to take on new challenges – prior experience is not required
