Your training begins at the Vocational Training Centre (Bbc) in Bern, where you will acquire the basics together with IT apprentices from other training companies during one year, preparing you for your subsequent deployment at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI). With the transition to the second year of apprenticeship, you will start with us.

Apprenticeship as an IT Specialist EFZ Platform Development (m/f/d)
- Varied training: You will have several months’ placements in different IT areas and gain in-depth insights into the various technical processes of operational IT.
- Diverse tasks: You will be actively involved from day one.
You will receive fault reports and enquiries directly, analyse them, find solutions, and implement them. Additionally, you will package and distribute software to employees. - Experimentation: As part of a project, you will build your personal lab environment for experimenting.
- Technical breadth: You will work on projects and in various teams, discover your strengths, and thus lay the foundation for your future path.
- Personal support: Throughout your training, you will be accompanied and supported by dedicated practical trainers – with heart, commitment, and know-how.
- A secondary school leaving certificate or an equivalent qualification
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Enthusiasm for IT and new technologies
- Enjoyment in solving tricky problems and developing solutions together in a team
- A quick grasp as well as a reliable, independent, and careful working style
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and motivation
