Your role & responsibilities
Teaching Excellence
- Be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging, challenging, and fully inclusive Design lessons.
- Deliver a curriculum mainly focused on computer-based Design for Secondary School students (aged 11 to 14).
- Implement various projects including Web design, graphics, architecture, and interior design tailored to this age group.
Enrichment & School Life
- Contribute to enrichment activities such as the supervision of Extended Essays and Personal Projects.
- Participate in after-school clubs and departmental field trips.
- Be involved with the pastoral care of students by serving as a mentor.
Coordination & Communication
- Maintain excellent classroom management and high organisational standards.
- Communicate clearly and regularly with colleagues and parents regarding student progress.
- Collaborate with the department to achieve the highest possible standards for all students.
Who we are looking for
You will thrive in this role if you possess:
- Education: A Design-related degree and a recognised teaching qualification.
- IB Expertise: Experience teaching the IBO Middle Years Programme (MYP).
- Experience: Proven experience teaching Design or a related field, ideally in an international setting.
- Linguistic Skills: English-French bilingualism is considered a substantial advantage.
- Versatility: The ability to teach another subject is a plus.
