Job Description
Within the Equality & Diversity Service directly attached to the Rectorate, and under the responsibility of its director, the post holder's main mission is to provide secretarial support to the service director and assist in the implementation of institutional measures aimed at promoting equality and diversity within UNIGE, notably:
- Assist the management of the Equality & Diversity Service
- Ensure internal administrative management of the Service
- Contribute to the organisation of commissions and working groups
- Assist/support project management
- Assist/support budgetary and financial management
Required Qualifications and Skills
Basic training and professional experience required:
- Commercial professional maturity or equivalent qualification
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in an administrative position, preferably in a similar field
- Knowledge of the university sector: an advantage
Specific knowledge useful for the position:
- Proficiency in common IT tools and ability to learn specific tools (templates, Adobe, Photoshop)
- Proficiency in minute-taking
- Good knowledge of English, German is a plus
- Strong writing skills in French
- Welcoming manner, interpersonal skills, ease in human contacts and respect for protocol
