About the job
The Hotel Berchtold & B5 is an active and innovative enterprise with various gastronomic venues and a centrally located accommodation facility. The group includes the 3* Superior Hotel Berchtold, the popular Berchtold Restaurant, the trendy and well-frequented bar "B5 to be", the Bistro B5 and the Lädeli B5 to go.
To complement our reception team at Hotel Berchtold, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an enthusiastic personality as:
Temporary Night Auditor (m/f/d) (20%)
Your main tasks
- Welcoming and attending to guests
- Check-in and check-out of arriving and departing guests
- Receiving and handling all incoming telephone calls
- Contact person for guests during the night
- Receipt and verification of waiter accounts
- Invoice processing and cash management
- Checking daily sales in Protel including daily closing
- Preparing the reception for the next morning/day
- Various cleaning tasks (lobby, restaurant & seminar rooms)
- Monitoring all security-relevant areas and entrances
- Regular patrols throughout the entire hotel complex
- Transmission and handover of all important information/incidents to the early shift
Your profile
- Willingness to work exclusively at night
- Quality awareness, reliability, flexibility and resilience
- Understanding of financial accounting
- Confident and fluent German and English, both spoken and written
- Proficient use of MS Office programmes, hotel software Protel is an advantage
There are approximately 3 - 4 shifts per month. Mainly the nights from Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday. It is also necessary to cover the holidays of our permanent employees during 5 weeks per year.
