Role:
In this role, you will manufacture demanding precision turned parts on modern CNC machines and ensure timely production of the highest quality. You will independently set up, operate and optimise the machines as well as troubleshoot and carry out necessary maintenance work. With your technical understanding and quality-oriented working method, you actively contribute to the further development of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
Independently operating and monitoring CNC lathes of the Okuma type for the production of complex precision parts
Manufacturing individual parts and series according to production orders while adhering to quality and quantity specifications
Independent machine setup including professional tool changes and setting up machining processes
Performing measurement and inspection tasks to ensure the required manufacturing quality
Reading and implementing technical drawings including consideration of form and positional tolerances
Analysing and rectifying machine malfunctions as well as performing maintenance and servicing tasks
Monitoring production processes and initiating appropriate measures in case of deviations
Active participation in process optimisations and contributing technical improvement suggestions
Ensuring efficient production in a continuous late shift operation
Qualifications:
Completed technical EFZ vocational training, ideally in the field of polymechanics, production or a comparable discipline
Experience in operating and manufacturing on Okuma CNC machines
Knowledge of the Okuma OSP control is an advantage
Good practical knowledge in measurement and testing technology as well as confident handling of technical drawings
Experience in CNC turning and manufacturing demanding precision parts
Quality-conscious, reliable and structured working style with a high sense of responsibility
Solution-oriented thinking and enjoyment of technical challenges
Team-oriented personality with good communication skills
Willingness to work in a continuous late shift model
Fluent German skills spoken and written
