We are looking for an immediate or agreed start for a communicative, innovative, and committed personality as
Head of Department Education and Spirituality (60 - 80%)
Or Department Education (40%) and Department Spirituality (40%)
The Department of Education and Spirituality of the Roman Catholic Church in the canton of Basel-Landschaft supports people inside and outside the church to discover, understand, and develop their relationship with God. Target group-specific offers are aimed at adults of different educational and age levels and in various life situations.
The position can be filled by one person up to 80% or by two persons each 40%.
Your main tasks are:
• Identification of specific target groups and their needs
• Development of target group-specific, future-oriented concepts for education and spirituality and their implementation
• Cooperation with other departments (Diakonia, Youth and Family, Economy-Work-Church, etc.) and with pastoral workers in the pastoral areas
• Design, coordination, and implementation of events including speaker activities (e.g., announcement, planning, execution of communion helper courses and lector courses, as well as faith courses and courses for state-church law committees)
Your qualifications:
• Degree in theology or religious education and identification with the tasks, goals, and values of the Catholic Church
• Fulfillment of the requirements for the episcopal mission mandate Missio Canonica
• Experience in adult education
• Experience in project management and conceptual work
• Team orientation, independence, and loyalty
