About the job
The St. Jakob Foundation in Zurich offers around 450 people with disabilities protected workplaces and day structures. They are supported by around 190 specialised staff. Seven sectors work under one roof with us – accordingly, our everyday life is versatile, lively and exciting.
We are looking for a job coach for our apprentices at various levels PrA, EBA and EFZ, who are completing training at the St. Jakob Foundation, starting 01.07.2026 or by arrangement.
What you bring:
- Completed vocational training with additional training as a job coach and several years of professional experience as a job coach
- Experience in vocational education is an advantage, ideally with IV-supported training
- Very good computer skills
- Enjoyment of networking and the talent to build and maintain relationships
- Existing network in the Zurich area is an advantage
- Excellent oral and written German skills as well as high social competence, empathy and sensitivity
- Flexibility, resilience, integrity, ability to work in a team and professional ability to set boundaries
- A passionate team spirit, customer orientation and resilience
- Impeccable reputation
As a job coach, you will accompany our apprentices individually and resource-oriented during their training. You support them in developing their professional, social and personal skills, coordinate cooperation with internal specialists, trainers and external agencies, and promote sustainable professional integration. With your commitment, you help create perspectives and successfully accompany the apprentices on their way into the working world.
