About the job
for the two-year diploma training at the Media Training Centre (MAZ) Lucerne from 1 March 2027 to 28 February 2029.
Your area of activity
– You will spend part of the training in the regional department of the Bieler Tagblatt. Here you will immerse yourself deeply in the Biel-Seeland region and independently write reports
– You will also spend part of the time in our online editorial team of ajour. Here you will manage our news app, design and write online articles as well as social media posts. You will independently take on online shifts (in a three-shift system)
– In parallel, you will complete the diploma training at MAZ Lucerne (90 course days, diploma thesis)
Your ideal profile
– Ideally, you have already gained some experience in journalism through an internship
– You are at least 20 years old, have completed a vocational apprenticeship or the Matura
– You write confidently in German
– You are enthusiastic about both the digital world and print journalism
– It is a plus if you are familiar with the Biel/Seeland region and have a driving licence
– You are independent, take responsibility, show commitment and creativity
– You can communicate in French and translate texts from French to German using software
