In this role, you take technical responsibility for all MySports IT & OTT systems and ensure they operate smoothly for day-to-day operations. You are also responsible for the further development of our entire system landscape.
You work at the interface between business, streaming technology, app development, CRM, and broadcast, ensuring all systems work together optimally.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Technical Responsibility & Operations:
Ensuring stable and smooth operation of the MySports app and all connected systems including monitoring system performance as well as proactive identification and escalation of issues (especially during live events) - System Integration & Data Flows:
Responsibility for the interplay of the entire system landscape and ensuring clean data flows between app, CRM, and backend systems including interface responsibility for the OTT platform as well as broadcast, content, and EPG systems - Solution Design & Requirements Engineering:
Translating business requirements into clear, actionable technical requirements and ensuring a structured and complete definition of requirements - Vendor Setup & Management:
Leading selection as well as coordination and management of external technology partners and suppliers (e.g. app, CRM, payment, analytics) in coordination with procurement, legal, and security - Implementation & Delivery Management:
End-to-end responsibility for the introduction, integration, and further development of systems and features including planning, coordination, and execution of testing (including UAT) up to successful go-live - Go-Live & Operational Handover:
Handover of new systems and features to operations including documentation as well as ensuring stable operation and support during the initial operational phase - Further Development & Optimisation:
Responsibility for the overall overview of the system landscape including identifying optimisation needs, defining and continuously optimising technical processes, and evaluating new technologies (e.g. in OTT, automation, AI)
YOUR SKILLS:
- Experience in a technical product manager, platform, or system integration role
- Good understanding of OTT/streaming platforms; understanding of digital subscription models is an advantage
- Experience with APIs & system integrations as well as CRM, payment, or analytics systems
- Basic understanding of data structures, data flows, and software development processes (Agile, releases, testing)
- Several years of experience in requirements engineering including prioritisation and stakeholder management
- Structured and solution-oriented working style
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly
- High sense of responsibility ("ownership") as well as proactive and hands-on mentality
- Ability to coordinate various stakeholders (business, tech, external partners)
- Interest in new technologies (especially OTT, CRM, automation, AI)
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
