The Hôtel de la Cigogne 5* has 49 rooms, junior suites and suites, each decorated in a different style. This charming house features a traditional restaurant, a bar, as well as a magnificent lounge for meetings, cocktails, lunches and dinners accommodating up to 40 people.

Job Description

As part of their hotel training, the F&B intern will be present for a period of 6 months starting from February 2026 within our restaurant la Cigogne.

During the internship, the tasks will be as follows:

• Welcoming customers;
• Taking and serving customer orders quickly and accurately;
• Participating in service during banquets and events;
• Communicating orders to the chefs, paying attention to priorities and specific requests (food allergies, etc.);
• Setting up the restaurant;
• Clearing dirty dishes and utensils;
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the restaurant dining area;
• Answering customers' questions about menu items.

Only internship requests from schools referenced by the Swiss hotel and restaurant collective labour agreement are accepted.

Qualifications

• Student in the hotel field;
• Languages: French and English essential, a third language is an asset;
• You are motivated and dynamic;
• You want to learn the profession.
• Work in continuous shifts requiring presence in the evenings and weekends.
• Have a positive, caring and consistent attitude;
• Have a sense of hospitality and attention to detail;
• Show respect and discretion;
