About the job
General practice medicine with a workload tailored to you - between 50 and 100 percent - and Lake Constance just a few kilometres away: In Oberthurgau, you independently care for your patients in a manageable team with orthopaedics on site and physiotherapy in the town. Germany is within reach, and your relocation will be professionally supported.
You work in a modern medical practice in a small town in Oberthurgau. General practice and orthopaedics share the premises here, while physiotherapy has its own location in the same town. Just over a dozen staff work together interprofessionally. An MPA team with its own management organises the daily practice routine. The orthopaedic colleagues operate on their patients themselves as attending physicians in regional clinics, ensuring that diagnosis, procedure, and aftercare are closely coordinated. Consultations take place exclusively on weekdays.
The town is a transport hub in Thurgau. A direct InterCity line runs towards Zurich, and the S-Bahn travels to Lake Constance. From the nearby lake port, the ferry crosses to Friedrichshafen, and the borders to Germany and Austria are only a few kilometres away. Those with roots or family in southern Germany remain well connected without having to forgo a Swiss position.
Your responsibilities:
- You take on primary care in general practice independently, for both acute and chronic complaints
- You assess patients and coordinate closely with orthopaedics and physiotherapy
- You cover for your medical colleagues during holidays and absences

Your benefits:
- Working hours that fit family life: workload from 50%, flexibly arranged, consultations only on weekdays
- Reliable cover: absences are covered within the medical team; plus 25 days’ holiday, 30 from age 50
