Do you enjoy working with people? Would you like to join our nursing team for the nursing residential groups from 1 December 2026 or by arrangement?
Tasks
- You are responsible for the training processes of apprentices and students from recruitment to vocational training completion in close cooperation with the trainers in the residential groups.
- You help to continuously review and further develop the quality of vocational training.
- You conduct internal training sessions for interns, apprentices and students and contribute to public relations work.
- You actively support the continuous review of the quality of vocational education and work on the further development of operational training plans and concepts.
- Together with nursing management, trainers and existing staff, you help ensure learning-promoting training structures in the departments and residential areas and coach the trainers in your area.
Profile
- Several years of experience in vocational training as well as in the development and implementation of training strategies
- Completed training as a qualified nursing specialist HF/FH with several years of professional experience and SRK recognition for diplomas from abroad
- Vocational pedagogical training such as a federal certificate as a trainer or equivalent knowledge
- Sound, evidence-based nursing expertise and the motivation to further develop this from a vocational training perspective within the nursing residential groups
- Sound knowledge of the Swiss education system in healthcare

The annual salary for this position ranges between CHF 102,263.– and CHF 136,644.– (100%) depending on experience.

The Health Centres for the Elderly of the City of Zurich are one of the largest geriatric
institutions in Switzerland. We are the leading service provider in the elderly care sector – with competence, heart and a comprehensive range from a single source.
Our nine nursing residential groups (NRGs) at currently six locations offer people with
dementia or a psychiatric illness a manageable and homely environment.
The small units with eight to eleven places are embedded in the settlements of the respective districts
and enable comprehensive care and support in as everyday a setting as possible. Cooking, eating and shaping daily life together are part of life in the nursing residential groups – as close as possible to familiar life at home and tailored to individual needs.
