Head of Planning and Construction (80 - 100 %)
Starting early August 2027 or by arrangement
As Head of Planning and Construction, you will take on a key position with tangible influence: you will shape how our community develops structurally and spatially and act as the central contact person between politics, administration, and the public.
Your tasks
- Operational management of the Planning and Construction department, including the Planning, Civil Engineering, Building Authority, and Real Estate offices
- Responsibility for local and spatial planning issues as well as ongoing and future planning projects
- Advice and support on construction-related matters
- Participation in strategic projects and collaboration with other administrative areas and external partners
Your profile
- Completed studies as a civil engineer, architect (FH/ETH), or spatial planner, or a comparable tertiary-level technical construction qualification (e.g. as a certified technician HF)
- Knowledge of public law and building law or willingness to undertake further training
- Leadership experience as well as strong social, communication, and organisational skills
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness, and a confident manner with various stakeholder groups
- Strategic thinking combined with a pragmatic, solution-oriented working style
- Fluent German and good Romansh skills in spoken and written form
