Job Description
As part of the development of our partner's services, we are looking for two nurses to join a recognised organisation and work with patients at home, in contexts of mental health care and somatic care.
1. Psychiatric Nurse - Fixed-term contract 60 to 80%
- Start date: immediately
- Duration: until 31 January 2027
- Main location: La Chaux-de-Fonds, with travel within the canton
2. Mental Health and Somatic Care Nurse - Permanent contract 70 to 80%
- Start date: immediately
- Locations: Marin, Peseux and Cernier
Within your duties, you provide individualised support to clients at home, taking into account their clinical situation, environment and specific needs. You carry out comprehensive nursing assessments, identify care priorities and adapt your interventions according to the evolution of the health status of the individuals followed.
You perform nursing care in mental health, including clinical observation, assessment of mental state, crisis management, therapeutic follow-up and support for treatment adherence. Depending on the position, you also provide somatic care such as monitoring vital signs, administering treatments, dressings, injections and any other care within your scope of practice.
Profile Sought
For this position, we are looking for a professional holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross.
You have at least one year of full-time experience in psychiatry in Switzerland, gained in a demanding environment that has allowed you to develop strong clinical reflexes and a good understanding of mental health issues in adults and psychogeriatrics. Confirmed experience in somatic care is an essential asset and enables you to handle varied and sometimes complex situations with ease.
You possess excellent knowledge of adult psychiatry, strong clinical analysis skills and a real mastery of mental state assessment. You are also comfortable performing technical somatic care procedures and know how to adapt your care with discernment, precision and safety.
