CERN is a particle physics research centre, hosting scientists from around the world. CERN's Scientific Information Service offers a dynamic, international and stimulating working environment.
For the 2027 intake, we are looking for a motivated apprentice to learn the profession of Documentary Information Officer in a scientific and multilingual environment.
Required Qualifications
- Have completed compulsory schooling
- Have a school level equivalent to 11th grade in Geneva or 3rd grade in France
- Good command of written and spoken French
- Knowledge of English and German
Selection Procedure:
The selection is carried out in 3 stages:
- Interview
- Tests: French, English, German, logic
- Practical internship: 2 days

Employment conditions:
We offer a 3-year AID apprenticeship, during which the apprentice divides their time between school (CEC Nicolas Bouvier, Geneva) and CERN.
Salary: 770 CHF the first year with an increase each year during the following two years.
