The digitalisation of the public sector in Switzerland is one of the most complex and demanding transformation tasks of our time. Our partner is an established Swiss consulting firm that is consistently specialised in the digitalisation and organisational development of the public sector. Here, interdisciplinary teams from business administration, law, computer science and natural sciences work side by side.
For the further strategic expansion of the Public Sector Practice, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded individual as Senior Consultant Public Sector & Digital Government, who takes responsibility, manages complex mandates and actively shapes the success of the company.

- End-to-End Project & Programme Management: You take on overall or partial project management of complex digitalisation projects from initiation and feasibility study through business analysis to successful implementation (e.g. according to HERMES or agile frameworks).
- Public Procurement (IVöB/BöB): You design and accompany structured tendering procedures for IT and service projects of the public sector in a legally compliant and practical manner.
- Process & Change Architecture: You analyse core processes of public administration, identify digitalisation potentials and support organisations with effective change management through the transformation.
- Practice Development & Mentoring: You actively contribute to the further development of the consulting offering, participate in the acquisition of new mandates and support younger consultants as a specialist coach in their development.
- Consulting Experience: At least 3 to 5 years of proven track record in external management or IT consulting with a clear focus on clients in the Swiss public sector.
Industry & Method Competence:
- Deep familiarity with decision-making structures, political processes and peculiarities of Swiss federalism.
- Sound knowledge of public procurement law (IVöB/BöB).
- Methodological proficiency in project management (e.g. HERMES, SAFe, IPMA/PRINCE2) as well as in process modelling and business analysis.
- Personality & Leadership: Confident, engaging manner at leadership level, strong moderation and negotiation skills as well as the ability to convey complex matters precisely.
- Working Style: High willingness to travel within Switzerland and enjoyment of a working culture that values direct, personal exchange with clients and the own team on site and in the Zurich office.
- Meaningful Mandates: Highly relevant projects with direct impact on the efficiency and citizen-friendliness of public administration in Switzerland.
- Interdisciplinary Excellence: A collegial environment of highly qualified specialists that relies on knowledge exchange, quality and personal responsibility.
- Attractive Framework: Sustainable and progressive employment conditions, targeted executive training opportunities and a modern workplace in a prime location in the heart of Zurich.
