Workshop Manager (100%)
Here is what you will be doing:
- You are the contact person for all organisational and infrastructure matters related to the Cheseaux site
- You plan and organise maintenance and repair work on our aerial work platforms and other advanced equipment for your colleagues, and actively participate in these tasks
- You carry out quality checks and professionally and systematically inspect equipment using state-of-the-art diagnostic devices to detect safety defects and malfunctions
- You resolve malfunctions and breakdowns on our rental equipment directly at the client’s site, using our fully equipped service vehicles
- You manage deliveries and returns of all aerial platforms at the site and participate in training our rental clients in the use of work platforms
- You ensure the human and technical management of your colleagues
Here is what you need to bring:
- Initial training in a mechanical trade, preferably as an automotive mechanic, heavy goods vehicle mechanic, agricultural machinery or construction machinery mechanic, or as a mechatronics technician
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics is an advantage
- Category B driving licence; categories BE and C are an advantage
- Forklift driving licence or willingness to obtain one
- Experience in managing a small team is an advantage
- Very good command of German; good command of English is an advantage
- Independent, rigorous and solution-oriented working style
- Team spirit and customer orientation, with a passion for the profession in your blood
