To strengthen our organization, we are looking for a Technical Services Director for the Super Platines Ondulé and Flexography (SPO-Flexo) product line, based at Bobst Mex SA.
A strategic role, at the heart of the performance of our technical services, product development, and customer satisfaction.
As Technical Services Director SPO-Flexo, you lead the Technical Services activities for SPO-Flexo products within Bobst Mex SA and support the local organizations of our entities (Bobst Customer Centers). You ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, profitability, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our solutions.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and lead the Technical Services of the Product Line (SPO-Flexo)
- Ensure the proper execution of machine installations and their profitability.
- Define the time and budgets required for each installation.
- Ensure that technical requests are handled quickly and with the appropriate expertise.
- Develop the skills of your collaborators.
- Establish and monitor the operational budget, and validate purchase requests according to the "Procure-to-Pay" process.
- Represent Bobst Services within the Product Line management and actively contribute to decisions.
- Supervise and support Technical Services in the Bobst Customer Centers
- Maintain accurate knowledge of local organizations and develop a trusting relationship with their managers.
- Evaluate the performance of local teams and propose development actions.
- Ensure alignment of action plans and proactively resolve pending issues.
- Continuous product development and participation in innovation
- Document and communicate quality or design issues to the relevant departments (Research and Development, Quality, Supply Chain Management, etc.).
- Contribute to new product development processes (New Industrial Products, Gates processes, Project Management Process, etc.).
- Participate in product strategy and support the development of new services: technical improvements, modernizations, maintenance contracts, etc.
- Prevent and resolve customer disputes
- Anticipate risk situations and protect BOBST's image, profitability, and customer relationship.
- Synthesize information and propose balanced action plans between the different parties.
- Participate in customer visits for dispute resolution.
- Manage and develop the SPO-Flexo Field Service Technicians
- Manage a team of about 63 Field Service Technicians. Define individual objectives, ensure development plans and continuous training.
Your profile
- Manage the annual hours budget and monthly activity tracking (billable, installations, free of charge, internal support, etc.).
- Ensure rapid and qualified intervention in critical situations at customers.
- Proven experience in managing technical services, ideally in a complex industrial environment or related to special machines.
- Strong experience in managing multicultural and geographically distributed teams.
- Excellent skills in budget management, operational control, and performance monitoring.
- Comfortable with technical problem solving and customer relationship management, including sensitive situations.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders (internal and international).
- Results-oriented, service-minded, strong leadership.
- Fluency in English; any other language is an asset.
