Sommerau Services AG is an internal service provider of the Sommerau Association in Rümlingen.
The gastronomy department is responsible for the lunch catering of children, adolescents
and employees at the locations of Liestal, Rümlingen, and Thürnen. Additionally,
catering services are provided for internal events. The purchasing,
storage and processing of food, the delivery to several locations, and the
catering at events are the focus of activities. The central kitchen is
managed in Liestal by head chef Christoph Rüegger.
We are looking to strengthen our kitchen team from 01.08.2025 or by arrangement
for a Chef/Chef de Partie EFZ or a Kitchen Staff EBA, 80 %
You bring:
- a successfully completed vocational training
- several years of experience as a chef in a home and/or large kitchen
- joy in the profession and in the further development of your skills
- good work references, excellent references
- the ability to quickly integrate as a supporting pillar into a team
- a high service orientation and willingness to serve
- a consistently courteous appearance towards third parties
- driving license category B
We offer:
- Participation and responsibility for the further development of the gastronomy area
- Deputizing for the head chef in their absence
- regulated working hours on weekdays (08:00 to 15:30, including lunch break)
- occasional assignments at events in the afternoon and/or evening hours
- at least 5 weeks of vacation plus 5 weeks of time off during school holidays
- salary in accordance with the cantonal salary guidelines Basel-Landschaft
- workplace Liestal (Schillingsrain area)
