Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our COO area as a Senior Strategic Reporting Manager. This pivotal role involves leading the COO level response towards EFG’s governance committees and preparing monthly and ad hoc reporting packages and dashboards in line with senior stakeholder expectations and needs, allowing them to ensure we are aligned with our strategic objectives. The successful candidate will ensure the highest quality data and communication is shared with our senior management, will act as an advisor on key strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Governance Leadership: Lead and manage the consolidation and delivery of all official submissions to various senior management committees and stakeholders (ExCo, GBC, BoD, RiskCo, Audit), ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Ensure reporting is clear, professional, and digestible for governance bodies.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement reporting dashboards and analytics tools that provide information, insights and recommendations to support decision-making aligned with the bank's strategic objectives. Promote achievement reporting to showcase our successes.
- Achievements Communications: Develop and lead an achievement gathering and communications process, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of communications shared across the organization.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate effective communication and governance practices across the organization. Connect the dots across initiatives and think about the audience, ensuring communications are understandable and effective.
- Strategic Advisory: Work closely with the Global COO and Chief of Staff, acting as a strategic advisor on key initiatives.
- Project Support: Support the COO in driving strategic projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the bank's overall objectives and priorities, and contributing to the successful execution of these projects.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in COO, business management, strategic and senior management reporting roles within the financial services industry.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights that drive business decisions.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and ability to structure and simplify complexity, streamline processes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives and stakeholders, and convey complex information clearly and succinctly. Proven experience in digesting and simplifying information for senior management.
- Independence and Initiative: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving. Experience in setting up and standardizing processes with attention to detail.
