About the job
Embedded Linux Engineer - BSP & Yocto 80-100% (m/f/d)
Together with our development team, you will bring Linux to new hardware – from board bring-up to production-ready, secure distribution for devices in industrial, automation, and medical environments.
We provide modern AI tools, promote their professional use, and create space to actively shape new ways of working – not a hype, but lived practice.
In the team, you develop and maintain the Board Support Packages for our customised hardware: bootloader, kernel, device trees, and drivers.
With Yocto, you create customised Linux distributions including Secure Boot, software updates with SWUpdate, as well as security patch and licence management throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Additionally, you manage CI/CD pipelines and test software, occasionally support customer applications, and use AI tools purposefully.
You work closely with hardware development and project management and coordinate with manufacturers and customers as needed.
