What you can achieve
- Planning, evaluating, migrating, developing/implementing, configuring and testing systems (hardware, software, network, controls) as well as transferring the systems into productive operation
- Ensuring the productive operation of IT systems
- Implementing changes and expansions to IT systems
- Analyzing malfunctions and error conditions; initiating and monitoring measures to resolve them
- Technical support and consulting in the pre-sales area for concept and offer creation
- Creating concepts and documentation
- Supporting and advising customers and system users on system technical questions
- Maintaining system technical documentation
- Examining new or changed requirements for feasibility, costs and complexity, as well as their impact on existing/planned systems, standards and guidelines (Requirement Engineering)
- Specifying system architecture, selecting hardware and system software as well as network and control components. Investigating possible alternatives and verifying feasibility.
- Examining the impact of new ICT components on existing systems; providing recommendations considering the overall system
- Managing ICT material pools and logistics clarifications and creating any necessary documents
- Maintaining a technical inventory of all installed and stored hardware and software as well as all system components
- Conducting training, including creating all necessary documents
- Maintaining contact with our customers through various communication channels
- Capturing the needs and expectations of clients and developing solution proposals and decision bases based on the captured requirements
- Creating, maintaining and updating manuals, documentation, package descriptions and project documents
- Conducting analyses and feasibility studies including creating the necessary documents
What you bring with you
- Completed IT training (EFZ) or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience in client engineering.
- Analytical, independent, structured and quality-conscious.
- Fluent in German and good knowledge of English.
Technical skills:
- Operating systems: Deep knowledge of Windows 10/11 as well as experience with Windows Server.
- Client management: Confident handling of Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM).
- Automation: Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting to automate processes.
- Infrastructure & security: Experience with Group Policies (GPO), certificate management and security hardening.
