Bauch Medizin Bienne is the leading gastroenterological centre in Biel-Seeland with around 5,000 consultations per year.
At our main location at Bahnhofstrasse 14 in Biel/Bienne, we care for outpatients in a modern environment. In close cooperation with the Biel Hospital Centre (SZB), we also cover gastroenterological care at the SZB. Around 40 dedicated employees commit themselves daily to the best medical quality.
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed specialist in gastroenterology (80–100 %) with the opportunity to train in interventional endoscopy (EUS, ERCP).
Your tasks:
- Performing all diagnostic endoscopy
- If knowledge is available in:
- Therapeutic ERCP including papillotomy, stent placement and lithotripsy
- Endosonography (EUS) – diagnostic and therapeutic, including fine needle aspirations and biopsies
- Care of outpatient and inpatient gastroenterological patients
- Management of own gastroenterological consultations
- Participation in interdisciplinary case discussions and consultative activities
- Collaboration in quality assurance and training of assistant staff
Your profile:
- Recognised specialist title in gastroenterology
- Experience in ERCP and interventional EUS is an advantage
- Passion for teamwork and interdisciplinary medicine
- Routine in emergency management and sedation procedures in the endoscopy area
- Independent, structured working style and enthusiasm for innovation
- Very good German skills; knowledge of French is a prerequisite
