Professional System Engineer Network & Security 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

Our client is seeking support in the area of Network & Security. You will spend your time on:

• Supporting the operation, monitoring, and further development of the network and security infrastructure

• Configuring and managing network components such as switches, routers, WLAN solutions, and firewalls

• Assisting in the analysis and resolution of network and security incidents

• Contributing to the implementation of security requirements and network segmentation

• Participating in infrastructure and customer projects as well as site migrations and integrations

• Supporting the introduction of new network and security technologies

• Creating and maintaining technical documentation as well as operational and security concepts

• Together with experienced colleagues, you ensure a stable, high-performance, and secure operation of customer environments

What do I need to be successful?

You bring the following:

• Completed training as an IT specialist EFZ, system technician, or a comparable qualification

• Initial professional experience in the field of network, security, or system engineering

• Basic knowledge of routing, switching, WLAN, VLAN, VPN, and firewall technologies

• Experience with network or security solutions from manufacturers such as Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet, Lancom, or comparable technologies is an advantage

• Interest in cyber security, network architectures, and modern infrastructure solutions

• Ideally, first experience with monitoring, analysis, or security tools

• Willingness to take responsibility and develop professionally

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

• Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
