For a leading Swiss company with a highly available and technologically sophisticated IT infrastructure, we are looking for an experienced individual as a System Engineer with experience in the field of Datacenter Network & Security. In this demanding position, you will take responsibility for the expansion, operation, and further development of modern network and security solutions in a highly critical infrastructure environment.

System Engineer 80-100 % (m/f/d)

Job Description

• Planning, design, and implementation of demanding projects in the field of Datacenter Network, Network Security, and adjacent subsystems
• Technical responsibility for the Cisco ACI network and the load balancer infrastructure
• Further development and automation of the network environment with modern tools such as Ansible and Git
• Creation of technical concepts as well as documentation of systems and operational processes
• Support in 3rd level support and analysis of complex faults
• Participation in on-call duty on a rotation of approximately 6 to 8 weeks
• Close collaboration with internal departments and stakeholders to implement future-oriented network solutions

We expect

• University degree (FH) in computer science, network technology, or comparable education
• Several years of experience in the Cisco enterprise or service provider environment
• Solid practical experience with Cisco ACI in design, configuration, and operation of modern datacenter networks
• Good knowledge in the areas of network architecture, routing, switching, and security
• Experience or strong interest in network automation with Ansible, Git, or comparable technologies
• Analytical and conceptual thinking as well as enjoyment in developing sustainable solutions
• High customer and service orientation as well as strong communication skills
• Very good German skills and good English skills
