Your Tasks
- Your focus is on the technical design and performance tuning of our DWH. You analyse and optimise our existing data pipelines based on MSSQL.
- You are responsible for the operation and monitoring of data flows as well as the expansion of monitoring capabilities (peak loads, data access, permissions, etc.) and maintain the technical documentation.
- Your duties include connecting source data and optimising ETL processes.
- You enable data usage by connecting and providing APIs.
- Additionally, you take on the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and data-based tests to ensure data quality.
- Evaluating and introducing data protection-compliant tools, including AI-supported ones, for building, optimising, and monitoring the DWH also belong to your responsibilities.
Your Profile
- Completed higher education in computer science, medical informatics, data science, or related fields
- Several years of experience with MSSQL Server focusing on performance tuning (Query Optimizer, Resource Governor, index strategies including columnstore, snapshot isolation, etc.) with very good knowledge of SQL/T-SQL
- Knowledge in building and operating a data warehouse as well as knowledge of Python, Power BI, PowerShell, dbt, Docker, REST APIs, and event streaming solutions is an advantage
- Knowledge of clinical and administrative hospital processes and data is an advantage
- High motivation and flexibility for working in a multidisciplinary environment
- Goal-oriented, independent, and reliable working style with a high awareness of quality
- Good communication skills in German and English
