CHILDCARE EDUCATORS - TEMPORARY POSITIONS

BETWEEN 60% and 100%

As part of long-term replacements, the positions are offered on fixed-term contracts, with a workload and duration of commitment defined according to the needs of the facilities.

The Childcare Service manages the nine child life spaces (EVE) of the City of Carouge.

This organisation is part of an approach to enhance professions, professionalise practices and coherently develop early childhood care services.

Under the responsibility of the structure's management, you will mainly be in charge of:

• Welcoming, supporting and managing a group of children; planning and proposing activities and events;
• Adopting the educational projects promoted by the structure and implementing them daily;
• Collaborating to establish and maintain an atmosphere favourable to the development of each child within the group;
• Establishing partnerships with parents and/or any resource persons;
• Sharing and exchanging knowledge, analyses and reflections with other professionals;
• Collaborating closely and actively with partners from the internal and external network.

YOU OFFER

• A Higher Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or an equivalent recognised qualification;
• Swiss nationality or a valid work permit;
• Enthusiasm, flexibility and a strong team spirit.

7 (early childhood scale based on 35 days)
