Production Operator (Preparation / Shipping for the Tooling Industry)

Your tasks

We are a coating centre and apply PVD coatings (high vacuum installations) on tools and components. Within our goods receipt and shipping team, you ensure the reliable and careful handling of our clients’ tools and components, from their arrival to their reshipment after the coating process.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Receiving, unpacking and identifying tools and components delivered by our clients
• Inspecting received goods (visual, dimensional) and preparing them for the various stages of the coating process
• Creating and managing production tracking sheets / delivery notes in our ERP system
• Loading parts for the washing process
• Performing a visual inspection of parts after treatment
• Carefully packing goods and preparing their shipment to clients

Depending on needs, you also support the "Handling" team in the following activities:

• Use of the washing line
• Microblasting and polishing of tools and components (occasionally)

Your profile

• Knowledge in the tooling industry: You have several years of experience in a production environment, for example in mechanics, work preparation, goods receipt or shipping,
• You have a very good command of French; knowledge of German is an advantage
• You are comfortable with IT tools;
• You work precisely, calmly, reliably and conscientiously
• You enjoy teamwork and demonstrate good organisational skills

The variety of tools we receive from clients for processing is immense: your work is therefore very varied and requires great concentration and good thinking ability.
