The position is attached to the Department of Clinical Neurosciences . This department provides care to patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and otorhinolaryngological pathologies. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation).
The department's objective is to guide patients towards regaining their autonomy through teaching, support and outpatient follow-up. It ensures the operation of patients as well as their support, to promote an early return home. In the same spirit, outpatient care is also prioritised and surgical activity optimised, to facilitate access to care within a reasonable timeframe.
The neurorehabilitation service cares for people suffering from sequelae of nervous system damage with the aim of achieving the best possible independence and social integration.
The neuropsychologists of the neurorehabilitation service conduct thorough diagnostic assessments and implement individualised rehabilitation interventions based on the best available scientific evidence. They work within a highly specialised multidisciplinary team, in an environment that fosters clinical innovation, collaboration and continuous professional development.
As part of your role, you provide neuropsychological rehabilitation services to brain-injured patients through interdisciplinary outpatient care in a day hospital (Beau-Séjour site).
