About the job
What is my role?
Responsibility for the production and manufacturing technical support of aerospace projects throughout the entire development cycle in the area of Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT Engineering)
Independent construction and assembly of prototypes, development models and qualification hardware including integration and commissioning
Design and practical implementation of assembly, integration, verification and test strategies for different hardware maturity levels (development, qualification, flight)
Active participation in design reviews with a focus on manufacturability, integrability and testability of new products
Organisation, execution and evaluation of functional proofs, verification tests, qualification tests and acceptance tests
Definition, optimisation and industrialisation of assembly, integration and testing processes including necessary operational, testing and test facilities
Technical problem analysis, participation in root cause analyses and non-conformance handling as well as creation and updating of production-relevant documentation
What do I need to be successful?
A completed technical basic training as a polymechanic, automation technician, mechatronics technician or in a comparable technical profession
Further training as a technician HF or a completed degree as an engineer FH in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering or a related technical field
Solid practical experience in the construction, assembly, integration or industrialisation of complex assemblies and technical systems
Strong hands-on mentality and enthusiasm for independently building, integrating and testing demanding hardware
Ideally professional experience in the aerospace, space, MedTech or another high-reliability industry
The ability to systematically analyse complex technical contexts, develop practical solutions and work in a structured, independent and precise manner
Enjoyment of interdisciplinary teamwork as well as very good oral and written communication skills in German and English
