YOUR MISSION

• Quality and Drawing Review: You take independent responsibility for reviewing design and manufacturing drawings (e.g. parapet systems, complex steel structures, and cantilever solutions). You ensure that only error-free, complete, and standard-compliant drawings go into production.

• Precise Detail Control: You check dimensions, tolerances, fits, and material specifications (e.g. stainless steel, galvanised components) and guarantee optimal surface and corrosion protection (e.g. hot-dip galvanising, coating) while complying with all safety regulations.

• Interface Coordination & Compliance: You meticulously align the plans with customer requirements, the specification, and applicable standards (e.g. DIN 7200:2004, EN, Eurocode) and are responsible for ensuring compliance with these requirements.

• Error Prevention & Clarification: You identify design errors or ambiguities early and proactively clarify open questions with design, project management, or directly with the customer. Your careful attention actively prevents manufacturing errors, costly rework, and unnecessary additional costs.

• Production Release & Documentation: After successful review, you grant the final release of drawings for production or assembly and ensure complete, transparent documentation of all reviews and approvals.
  
  
  

  YOUR ENERGISED PROFILE

  • Background: Solid expertise in metal or steel construction, ideally through training as a technical system planner, master metalworker, technician, or an engineering degree.

  • Standards Understanding: A thoroughly confident understanding of technical drawings as well as sound knowledge of relevant standards (especially DIN 7200).

  • Technical Know-how: In-depth knowledge in the area of welded constructions, manufacturing processes, and corrosion protection for outdoor use.

  • Mindset: You are characterised by a careful, structured, and detail-oriented working style.

  • Communication: You are strong in communication and act confidently in exchanges with internal departments and external partners in German and English.
