About the Position
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a setter with potential to deputy department manager m/f/d (100% workload). In this role, you take responsibility for setting up and optimizing injection molding processes, actively participate in daily business, and develop in the medium term to become the deputy department manager.
Your Main Responsibilities
* Setting up and optimizing injection molding machines and processes
* Supporting the handling of technical challenges in ongoing operations
* Professional training, instruction, and further development of employees (including apprentices and shift supervisors)
* Implementation of improvement projects
* Ensuring occupational safety
* Representing the department manager during absences
Your Tasks in Detail
* Analyzing production problems and developing solutions
* Process optimizations in collaboration with production and engineering
* Assisting in planning and organizing the production process
* Participating in the introduction of new methods and technologies
* Being the primary contact person for technical problems
What You Ideally Bring
* Completed training as a plastics technologist
* Experience in plastics processing, e.g., as a setter, process technician, or shift supervisor
* Experience with ENGEL injection molding machines and handling systems is desirable
* Independent, solution-oriented, and structured working style
* Responsible, resilient, loyal, and assertive
* Strong team orientation and enjoyment in sharing knowledge
